Our Wedding

Haylee and Drew’s love story began in 2019 at Carleton University, where they were finishing up their final year in University. If you ask Drew there are a variety of stories on how they met, one including Haylee asking Drew to pretend to be her boyfriend because a man was harassing her at the downtown Rideau Metro (Ottawa folks will understand), and he's just been pretending since. Their first date was on a rainy Thursday evening at a cozy little coffee shop near campus called Happy Goat. You could say their love was brewing because just a few days later, they found themselves on another date, this time sipping bubble tea. Once they both graduated (during a pandemic none-the-less), they decided to take jobs close to home, and moved in together downtown Toronto.

The Proposal

We can’t believe we’re here, about to start this next chapter with all of you by our side! On October 10th, 2025, we’ll be saying “I do” at Eaton Hall, and honestly, it wouldn’t feel right without you there to share it with us. You’ve been part of our story in so many ways, and having you with us as we take this next step means more than we can put into words. We can’t wait to laugh, dance, and celebrate with the people we love most!

Please mention you're part of the Lough &amp; Suitor wedding block (Block ID 871870). Please note check-in starts at 3pm and the ceremony is at 4:30pm on October 10th. Early check-in is limited by availability. Novotel will provide a space for you to get ready if your room is not available early.

A shuttle service will be provided from Novotel to Eaton Hall at 3:45pm on October 10th. Shuttles will also escort guests back to Novotel at 11pm, 12am, and 1am.
